The Celtic Awakening Release Date

It gives me great pleasure to announce that the fourth and final book in The Celtic Veil series, The Celtic Awakening, will be released on October 27, 2023!

Yes! Really!

I began writing this book almost after I finished The Celtic Embers. I didn’t know at the time that it would be such a labor of love. The book, kind of, took on a life of its own, and I almost felt like I was just along for the somewhat emotional ride. I cried…numerous times. My fingers flew over the keyboard at a furious pace and I kept adding scenes. I suspect there was a part of me that didn’t quite want this series to end.

I had a small, brief mental breakdown with just two chapters to go and after a much needed pep talk from my husband, kids, and best friend, I gathered the courage, and the strength, to finish it. I hadn’t even been aware of how long it was until I typed out the words, ‘The End’, and I cried once again because I had to say goodbye to the Otherworld and all these characters who I had grown to love.

I always say the last book in any series is the hardest to write. There is a sense of achievement which comes with the process but there is also a sense of sadness. When you spend months, sometimes years, with these characters, it is not easy to just be done with them. You want to give them a proper story arc, but you also want to make it satisfying, for you, as the writer, and for the readers.

I can’t wait to share this final installment of Adara’s journey!
