Life is funny, isn’t it? I’m sitting here and I had to pause for a second because I cannot believe I am already writing out this blog post. I literally just published Enchanting Wick a few weeks ago and now, here I am again, ready to publish another book.

I suppose the only explanation I have is that I absolutely loved creating, and writing, Wick and Gracie’s story. These two characters have enchanted me since I started dreaming up The Hidden Realm Series. I guess, in some ways, my obsession and love for them propelled me to work harder than I ever have before.

Captivating Wick is a story about love and redemption. It is also about discovering the true meaning of loving someone, warts and all. Wick is not a typical storybook character. He’s an anti-hero at best. He is not ashamed of his past, nor does he hesitate to kill anyone who stands in his way or threatens those he cares about. He is somewhat mentally unstable and I did not want to shy away from that element.

The simple fact is, most male characters you read about today are pretty messed up, but Wick doesn’t use that as an excuse. He takes full responsibility for his actions and he wears his insanity proudly on his sleeve ( as noted by Gracie). His past does not dictate his future. He does not use the excuse of being domineering as his way to control his environment, nor does he participate in any showman like sexual deviant games.

He is, down deep, a lost little boy, who craves love and he finds that unconditional love with Gracie.

In Captivating Wick, Gracie has other issues to worry about besides Wick. She has something infinitely more important to focus her attention on and it was interesting to weave a tale of two people navigating this tricky situation.

Yes, there is one huge bombshell revealed at the climax and it is an aspect of the story that I have been working on since day one. I just wasn’t quite sure when I was going to incorporate it in the six book series. I can also tell you that Maximus does indeed make a quick appearance towards the end and I am now itching to write his and Marianna’s tale.

The release date for Captivating Wick is November 17, 2015 and I am pleased as punch to unveil the blurb, and the book trailer.

Oh, I have waited a long time for this book to be published. I was writing Gracie and Wick’s story when I started The Fairy Door. Don’t misunderstand me. I adore Liliana and Killian. I think their story is one of the sweetest I have ever written, but there’s just something about Wick…

It was exhilarating to develop a character that is the very definition of an anti-hero. His insanity became my joy and I loved writing Gracie. She is the perfect compliment to his personality and I fell in love with their story.

Yes, the sex scenes are a bit more graphic, but I felt they needed to be with these two lovers. I don’t think they are any more scandalous than what is out there now as far as stories go and I stand by with what I wrote.

I hope and pray that my readers will love them as much as I do. I also hope they will forgive me for the slight cliff hanger at the end…

Book Blurb:

*Enchanting Wick*
*The Hidden Realm Series Book Three*

Gracie Donahue was a thoroughly modern woman in the human realm, but that all changed when she happened upon a fairy door and entered the magical world of the hidden realms.

Gracie should have been content with her new life. Her best friend, Liliana joined her in Fairyland months ago and Lil was now the queen. She had pursued her dream of owning her own bridal shop and she was now looking forward to opening another store in the vampire realm. She had a new family that she adored and she loved the beauty of her new home.

Life should have been perfect for Gracie, but something was still missing.

One fateful encounter changes her whole world and it will plunge her into a passionate love affair like no other.

King Warwick of the vampire realm is known as the mad king. His methods are outrageous and his deranged actions are well known throughout the land. He is captivated by Gracie the instant he lays eyes on her and he will stop at nothing to have her in his bed.

Their erotic encounters shake them both to their jaded cores, but can they find a deeper connection as danger surrounds them or will the fiery flames of desire prove to be too much for both of them?

Join Wick and Gracie in this enchanting tale!

Enchanting Wick Info

Enchanting Wick has completely enchanted me.

I’m sorry if that sounds cheesy, but I can’t stop thinking about this book. I wrote it in less than two weeks.

Yes, you read right. A new record for me. I didn’t have any of the usual tiredness that comes with writing a book. I didn’t type out the last few sentences and think ‘Holy crap, I need a break’.

Nope, I fell asleep and woke up a few hours later because I was dying to read what I had written.

To say that I love this book almost sounds trite. I was consumed by it, I lived and breathed every word written. I am already writing the second book to Wick and Gracie’s story because I just have this driving desire to share it as soon as possible.

Gracie is, of course, Liliana’s best friend from The Fairy Door and The Fairyland Queen. She is smart, confident, and she knows what she wants.

Wick, or Warwick, is the king of the vampires and all dark creatures in the Vampire Realm. Readers will remember him as the slightly  deranged, witty vampire who kidnapped Liliana on her wedding night for the sole purpose of getting Killian’s attention so he could simply talk to him.

He is also known as the mad king and it is a title that is well earned.

Wick is not like any character I have ever written, He is an anti-hero at best. His methods are maddening and yes, he kills people. He does not apologize for his actions, nor does he explain himself.

That is until he met Gracie.

Theirs is a story that is unlike any I have written. If I had to draw comparisons, I would say they are like Willa and Mathias from the Skye Trilogy, only more messed up.

There is also another element in this book that I have never really done before and that is the story features a lot more graphic erotic scenes. I didn’t set out to make it more detailed, but I felt like it worked with the two of them and I also wanted to punctuate the abject need that they both have for one another.

It’s a wild ride and I cannot wait to publish this book. I’ve set a date for November 11, 2015, but as many of you know, I try to publish sooner if it’s possible.

Check out the trailer below and get ready to be enchanted by Wick and Gracie!
