It is with great pleasure to announce that A Flare of Fire, book three in The Warwick Witches Series, will be released on July 31, 2026!
I’m not going to lie. I have never been more happy to announce a release date nor have I been more proud to have written this book. This one was a struggle to write. Not because of the story but because of numerous events in my own life which hindered me at every turn.
My daughter, my baby, graduating high school-Check
Getting all the necessary paperwork and whatnot done for her to go to school in the UK-Check
Traveling to the UK and staying for three weeks to get her settled-Check
Being engulfed in depression after coming home from the UK and trying to adjust to an empty nest-Check
Late perimenopause-Check
Tearing my outer lateral meniscus right after the new year and going through months of pain and recovery-Check and Check
Finally seeing the light in the Spring and getting my head out of my ass-Check
Rediscovering my love for writing and this story-Check
It has been a transformative twelve months. There were times I never thought I would write again. I thought I lost the ability and the drive. I had moments of self-doubt…self-loathing, but I feel like I found myself again. Sounds corny. I know. The truth is, I am not someone who is good with change. I like my world and I do not like it to be turned upside down. I tend to retreat when it happens so I can process things. My family says it’s because I am a control freak. It’s true. I’ll fly that flag but the older I get, the more I feel like I have to start rolling with the punches of life. I also am going to have to embrace this new normal and use this time to focus on me and what I love.
And that is writing.
Book four of The Warwick Witches has now been officially started, and I am just beyond excited to continue this story. I will reveal the title and book cover when A Flare of Fire has been released!
But…there might just be some other news coming out very soon. I have had something in the works for a bit and I cannot wait to share it with you all.
Stay tuned!
