The Fae Witch Series Boxset Now Available!

The Fae Witch Series Boxset is now available!

I am thoroughly enjoying creating these boxsets for all of my series. I also have a bit of time on my hands since I am taking a break from writing after finishing A Fury of Witchery so quickly. It has been nice to take a step back and focus on this project while I take a mini-break from editing.

The Fae Witch Series was my second series I wrote and I have a tremendous amount of emotions for each book. I started dreaming about it when I was writing Isle of Dawn. Lucian just came out of nowhere and I couldn’t get him out of my head. I actually created the series before I finished writing the book. It somewhat hit me when Willa killed the Fae Witch who came to the island in the final battle scene and I actually stopped writing for a full day to create an outline. I suppose I also didn’t want to quite let go of the Isle of Skye series and this was a way to incorporate the characters which first started this writing journey for me.

Aston was a complete departure from Willa and Lucian was also vastly different from Mathias. I loved their dynamic and I also enjoyed writing from Lucian’s point of view in the start of The Cursed Wand.

The process, however, was complicated for me. I finished The Cursed Charm in record time. About three days after I had completed the rough draft, I woke up with a pinched nerve in my neck and shoulder. It was the worst pain I had ever felt and it took me months to recover. I think this is why I had so much fun writing The Cursed Wand. I finally felt better and I was so happy to be back writing.

But then the rug was pulled out from under me right before I started writing The Cursed Dagger. I am pretty sure anyone who has read it can feel the undercurrent of anger and darkness in this book which also carried to The Cursed Scepter. Quite simply, my father was diagnosed with cancer and my emotions were filled with sadness, worry, and absolute anger. I channeled all of those emotions into those two books. I am thankful I had an outlet which I could express what I was feeling and writing pulled me through some of the most horrible times I had ever experienced.

Going back over those books now has been therapeutic and, like I stated, I have been enjoying putting these boxsets together. I only hope others enjoy them as well!

Happy reading!
